# Aerospike Java Client Release 4.4.2 (June 10, 2019)

[Aerospike Java client version 4.4.2](http://www.aerospike.com/download/client/java/notes.html#4.4.2) was released on June 10, 2019.

This minor release adds two new features and one bug fix.

#### Features

- TOOLS-1342 Support write only (write) privilege for user roles. This feature requires server version that also supports write only privilege.
- TOOLS-1343 Support IP address whitelist functionality for user roles.

#### Fixes

- CLIENT-1078 For replica PREFER\_RACK, do not retry on same node where command failed if a fallback node exists on any rack.
