# Ruby Client Release 1.0.8 (July 25, 2015)

Version 1.0.8 of the Aerospike Ruby client was released on July 25, 2015 and is available for download [here](https://github.com/aerospike/aerospike-client-ruby/tree/v1.0.8).

This minor release contains several improvements and fixes:

Improvements

- Adds ‘Filter.to\_s’; thanks to [Ángel M](https://github.com/Angelmmiguel).

Fixes

- Fixes an issue in write policy that would use an undefined variable if :send\_key isn’t nil.
- Fixes an issue in cluster.closed logic.
- Fixes an issue with including the statement.rb in the manifest; thanks to [Ángel M](https://github.com/Angelmmiguel).
