Synopsis
This article discusses different tools that help monitor an Aerospike cluster.
Summary
Aerospike offers different methods to monitor the database, such as the Prometheus and Grafana based Aerospike Monitoring Stack. Nagios and Graphite are also common tools, which can be used for alerting and trending.
We recommend that you first take a look at the Key Metrics to Monitor documentation as well as the Metrics Reference Guide which includes a Monitoring
related suggestion for each entry, with the value Alert
, Watch
, or Optional
.
Both Graphite and Nagios are community driven open source projects:
- Graphite integration is provided by aerospike-community/aerospike-graphite.
- Nagios integration is provided by aerospike/aerospike-nagios.
