# What Changes needed to be done amc.config to support DNS

Hello Everyone, I am actually looked for forward to access **amc** using **DNS** For example **[amc.xyz.com](http://amc.xyz.com)**. I have added a DNS entry in the server for that but its not working with just that. Is there any changes needed to be done in the **amc.config** file for the same? Am I missing something here? Looking forward to the community for the help. Thanks in advance for the support u all will provide.

That should work. AMC has no limitations based on dns name. Is the AMC port and IP address accessible from your browsers machine? Are you using a DNS server or added entries in /etc/hosts ? Has DNS propagated?
