When is fire-and-forget taken into account

I just tried to change dynamically the fire-and-forget config parameter. As my connection is opened, is it taken into account directly or only with the next client connection ?

Hello. It takes effect immediately, as it is a server-global, dynamically changeable configuration parameter.
