Which operating systems (OS) does Aerospike support? by testyoung » Thu Nov 01, 2012 9:35 am

Which operating systems (OS) does Aerospike support?

Aerospike supports the following Operating Systems (OS) for the server:

Centos 5 (RHEL 5) Centos 6 (RHEL 6) Debian 6 Ubuntu 10.04 Ubuntu 12.04

In general, you may use the CentOS equivalent versions of Red Hat Linux (RHEL). Also, Aerospike has tested on Amazon using the Amazon Linux distribution, which is similar to CentOS. We have found no problems with it.

Please let us know if there are other Operating Systems you would like to use.

It seems that the latest 3.x versions have dropped support for Centos 5, and added an “any linux” build that will support Ubuntu 14.04 and Rhel/Centos 7.
