ADQ NIC Configuration

In the documentation it states that in order to take advantage of ADQ, auto-pin needs to be set to adq along with manual configuration of the nic. Anyone know what configuration needs to be done? I’m not really finding a whole lot of useful information regarding this feature.

Thanks, Jess

I found a lot of my answers here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H0DaUKYXGM

Jess, thanks for raising this topic.

The ADQ feature is no longer under active support. We apologize for the fact this isn’t clear in some of our documentation and we’ve mobilized the team to rectify this. In the meantime, if you’re open to chatting about the problem you’re trying to solve, there may be a better option available using supported Aerospike features.

Thanks for your reply Tyler!

Are you saying that ADQ no longer provides any benefit for Aerospike and thus support was dropped or that there are better options to achieve the same performance results?

I know the option still exists, or at least it doesn’t blow up when setting auto-pin to adq.

I’m not trying to solve any specific problem. Rather, I’m always looking to get the maximum performance out of my hardware. This seemed like it could be promising with a bit of time put into the nic configuration.

Thanks! Jess
