This looks a lot like the following issue:
I assume that you don’t operate the host operating system, just the OpenVZ guest, right? In this case, I’m afraid, we won’t be able to fix this issue by way of a kernel reconfiguration, as the kernel would have to be reconfigured on the host operation system.
