It seemly that Aerospike node start to migrate as soon as the node is down. What’s more, if I restart the down node, the node start cold start and cluster rebalance all data. If it is a heavy work for node to restart?
Yes, having migrations adds a decent amount of load to a running cluster.
Aerospike Enterprise has Fast Restart and Rapid Rebalace. These allow a node to restart and fully migrate data in minutes rather than hours.
