Following this SSD Setup - not using RAID page, I set the over-provisioning value as Total sector * 80%. After executing the command (hdparm -Np625138214 --yes-i-know-what-i-am-doing /dev/sdb), the current value is changed. But, the native value is also changed. (The original native value is 787422747).

I don’t know how to recover the native value to original.

We have noticed this in certain models of SSDs. Returning the drive to the original configuration for over-provisioning is not always easy. You may have to contact the manufacturer. We have noticed this problem only for certain manufacturers, but have not noticed it for Intel, Samsung, Fusion, Violin, or Micron (Crucial).
