Replacement for xdr_ship_bytes metric post Aerospike 5.0?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a replacement for the xdr_ship_bytes metric in versions 5 or higher of the aerospike server?

For context, I would like to track the throughput of xdr in bytes per second

From checking the current metrics reference, closest I found was aerospike_xdr_throughput, but this is in records per second , for the use case I have, record sizes can vary greatly

You cannot compute the xdr_ship_bytes with precision for the reasons you mention. But you are in luck, as this metric will be available again in the upcoming Aerospike Database 6.1 release. Hope this helps.
