Aerospike tools installation

Hi,

I know this is a pretty crazy question, but we have our aerospike cluster up and running, but we didn’t install the tools. If I were to just install the aerospike-tools rpm, would that require a server restart or will it try to restart the server? Basically, I just want to make sure the server doesn’t/will not restart by adding the tools to the instance.

Nope the tools package will not interfere with the server. The tools are independent of the server and do not require the server to be installed at all.
