This list is updated regularly as we find more SSDs to test.
Also:
- SSDs are priced in price/byte, with models right now between $1 and $2/GB. Having more, smaller machines (similar to “short stroke” HDD) creates maximum throughput at the same price. This might change the chassis you choose.
- Avoid RAID cards. We have had mixed experiences with different RAID cards. Some help, some hurt, and some help only for different SSDs. We generally strongly recommend direct attach SATA.
