Hi, we are moving forward with our 5.4 to 7.2 upgrade, and came across conflicting statements in this upgrade document:
In one place it says:
Database 6.0.0 and pre-6.0.0 are cluster-compatible, so a rolling restart upgrade with mixed versions is supported.
In another:
If you are upgrading from a version earlier than Database 5.7.0 you must upgrade the cluster to Database 5.7.0 before proceeding to Database 6.x.
We are currently running a pre-5.7 version so wanted some clarification on these statements. We haven’t encountered any issues in testing 5.4 > 7.2 rolling upgrades but if there is something specific to be aware of that would be helpful to know.
